INTRODUCTION TO RIDING (TR):
Riding Fee - Rs.25,000/- plus GST (To be paid in advance)(This is a one-week, one time basic riding course given as an introduction to riding)
PAYMENT DETAILS
- GST as applicable (18% at present)
- Fee to be paid every month irrespective of whether the Riders rides that particular month and should be paid on or before 10th of every month.
- During summer, there will be no evening classes for students.

RIDING TIMINGS:
ADVANCED / BASIC/ RIDERS (Only in the Mornings):
- 5:30 A.M. to 7.30 A.M on all days except on Tuesday
- First Batch 5.30 A.M (Riders to be present at the stable by 5.15 A.M)
- Second Batch 6.00 A.M (Riders to be present at the stable by 5.45 A.M)
- Third Batch 6.30 A.M (Riders to be present at the stable by 6.15 A.M)
- Days & Timing will be confirmed on approval of application forms and depending on the riding ability of the Rider.
STUDENT RIDERS & PONY RIDERS (Only in the Evenings):
- First Batch at 4.30 P.M (Riders to be present at the stable by 4.15 P.M)
- Second Batch at 5.00 P.M (Riders to be present at the stable by 4.45 P.M
- Any two days a week except on Tuesdays. (Subject to availability of horses)
- Days & Timing will be confirmed later on approval of the application form.
- Riding only in the evenings
- Students who wish to ride in the morning or wish to learn / take part in Jumping / Dressage can either become a basic or advanced Rider.
DISCIPLINE
DRESS CODE
Riders and Guests will be required to ride in proper outfit consisting of a pair of Breeches or Jeans, Boots or closed leather shoes with leather soles and heels (no Canvas / Sneakers allowed); Polo hat or Riding Cap, Club T-Shirts to be well tucked in. If dressed otherwise, Club’s horses will not be made available. Breeches and Riding Cap are available at the Club Stores. Club T-shirt and caps are also available.
GENERAL RULES:
All Riders / Students should be subject to the discipline of the Institute and maintain cordial relationship with other riders and staff.
The Riders / Students / Guests are themselves entirely responsible for any injury or accident that may occur to them while riding or in the stable area or while participating in other activities connected with horses and will not claim form Chennai Riding School or its officials and staff any compensation whatsoever.
Riders / Students shall abide by the instructions given by the Riding Instructor or the Administrator of the Chennai Riding School regarding the horse / pony that is allocated for their ride.
A Guest may be introduced for riding not more than two times in one calendar month by any Riders.
Riders introducing Guests will be held responsible in the event of the Guest violating any of the above rules. It will be the sole responsibility of the Rider to acquaint his / her Guest of the above rules of riding. All fees of Riders’ Guests will be recoverable from the Riders only.
Names of Riders / Students who have not paid their bills for the period exceeding two calendar months would be put on notice board and they will not be permitted to ride till they settle their arrears.
Riders defaulting in payment would be removed from the Chennai Riding School and they would have to re-apply as a new Rider after settling their previous arrears.
h. Riders of Chennai Riding School are not eligible / entitled for any facilities at the Madras Race Club or Guindy Lodge.
If the rider, not able to come for more than 3 months (Minimum He / She can offered became AR by paying monthly subscribtion of Rs.3,000 plus GST). AR is permitted to ride one day in a month without paying any Guest charges. More than one ride He / She will be charged Rs.2,000 plus GST.
